In August 2005, volunteers
from STW went to Kenya to assist a wheelchair distribution
as well as help with the renovation of the office
for the Maasai Community Health program. In the end,
nearly 200 wheelchairs were distributed and fitted
to their new owners. The Community Health office renovations
were almost finished. Kenya is just the latest location
in which STW has provided support. The list also includes
two trips to Vietnam and Jamaica. |
